Tungnath
Tungnath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand at an altitude of approximately 3,680 meters (12,073 feet), it is the highest Shiva temple in the world. The temple is surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks and attracts thousands of pilgrims and trekkers every year.
Tungnath is one of the Panch Kedar temples, a group of five sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to Hindu mythology, these temples were established by the Pandavas after the Mahabharata war to seek forgiveness from Lord Shiva.Valley of Flowers Track
